The African American Men of Westchester, Inc.(AAMW) is happy to provide you with our first Social Responsibility Report. We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1987. Our organization is composed of African American males who have distinguished themselves in various professions and have made significant contributions to multiple civic and community based organizations.
We are a group of men who are dedicated to helping address issues related to education, youth empowerment, domestic violence awareness and environmental justicee. Our goal is to design activities and provide programs that enrich the lives of young people and foster economic development in order to build strong communities that improve the lives of all county residents.
Our innovative projects and programing such as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Youth Legacy Awards, the Business Skills Olympics, educational forums, voter education workshops, health fairs and youth and women’s sports clinics are just some our initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for everyone. We appreciate your interest, and hope that you enjoy our Social Responsibility Report.
Thank you for your continued support of AAMW‘s efforts to make Westchester County a better place for all. Together, “We Make a Difference”.
