Legacy Youth Awards Luncheon
Youth receive recognition for serving their communities and
demonstrating dedication to Dr. King's teachings. King. more This
is the county’s largest event held in Honor of Dr. King.
With the Westchester County Board of
Legislators as the leading sponsor,over five hundred members of
the community attend this luncheon during which young people are rewarded for
their commitment to community service.
Awards are given to ten middle and high
school students for their work in the following categories:
Building Bridges
Perseverance
Peace/Non-Violence
Social Action
Social Justice
Spirit of Love
Vision
